Requested donation for lectures is $5 for adults and children 14 and over; includes admission to Museum and refreshments; FREE for members. Program is scheduled from 2-4:30 PM. RSVP requested. Call (631) 765-5577.

November 6, Patrick Falci presents, “The Life and Times of a Civil War Soldier”.

 

Patrick Falci is a well-known personality among Civil War groups and institutions across the country.  He has acted in, and worked as a historical adviser on, Civil War movies (Gettysburg and Gods and Generals) and documentaries. He travels across the country to bring Civil War stories to Civil War Round Tables, historical organizations, and school groups, and has delivered keynote addresses at various Civil War-related celebrations and anniversaries.  Mr. Falci is on the Advisory Council for the National Civil War Museum, and has served three terms as President of the Civil War Round Table of New York.

MULTI-VENDOR CRAFT AND YARD SALE

In the spring of each year we hold a Chinese auction to raise funds for the museum.  We’re always looking for items that are new or would be appropriate to either stand alone or be incorporated into theme baskets. Give the museum a call if you have donations toward that end. 631-765-5577.

Our next craft and yard sale is scheduled for September 22, 2012.  Ten by ten foot spaces are going for $25 and we’re ready to reserve one for you. Give a call to get started planning for next year.  We have room for about 50 vendors and we’d love to get to that number!  631-765-5577
