New For Families!

A children's area devoted to children of all ages!

A recent addition to the museum has been a corner that is devoted to children and families. There are stuffed animals, activity and coloring booklets and pages, a museum exploration booklet that will allow children to explore the exhibits on the main floor, games and puzzles that appeal to all ages, stories that can be acted out with props, a model longhouse and wigwam along with indian and animal figures that can be used for play, and assorted children’s books.

So.....Bring yourself, a friend, some coffee and some children, and enjoy this new space at the museum.

This museum is dedicated to study and education surrounding archaeology and natural history. It is owned and operated by the Incorporated Long Island Chapter of the New York State Archaeological Association.
