Stanton Mott Memorial Library
This library houses the chapter's collection of archaeology and anthropology books, magazines, journals, and a vertical file of related newspaper and magazine articles. Holdings primarily relate to the Indians of North America. Letters, field notes, site reports and other papers related to the archaeology of Long Island can be found in the library's documents collection. In addition, the library houses the books and journals of the chapter's parent organization, The New York State Archaeological Association.
All books, journals, and documents must be used within the library. Photocopying facilities are available for a nominal, per page fee.
The library is open Sundays, from 1:30 -

We also have a magazine collection that will allow exploration of current and historical Native and Colonial America. We encourage museum visitors to wander through the library and pull something out to enjoy while you're with us. If you call ahead about a particular need we can pull some relevant books and periodicals that may help you to dig right in to your exploration with a bit less searching.
